Noah Levy and Penny Crane team up to create a unique piece of artwork for Collabo, an art show hosted by TOGETHER at the 7 Seas Motel in Miami. The original abstract illustration was created digitally by Noah Levy and then woven together in a tapestry by Penny Crane.
TOGETHER is an experimental happening, multi-format art platform launching during Miami Art Week. Established in 2005, the Collabo show is a Miami-based, artist-organized exhibition.
The creative team at KesselsKramer and citizenM recently asked me to create an illustration and animation for the new citizenM hotel in Miami, Florida. The graphic is intended to promote a call for art for creatives living in Miami. Art and artists will be selected by a jury and the final pieces will be displayed in the common areas and rooms of the new hotel.
The concept of the illustration was to create caricatures that spell out the word “MIAMI.” Of course, each of the caricatures are enjoying some of my favorite Miami activities. I’m excited to see the final artwork that will be selected for the hotel.
Spot Lite is a new Bar, Music Venue, Lounge, and Art Gallery located in Detroit, Michigan. The owners of Spot Lite asked me to iterate a bunch of logo and illustration concepts that could be produced on a variety of materials including t-shirts, tote bags, member ID cards, and social media graphics.
The illustrations were inspired by vintage caricature designs and badge logos.

There is a lot happening in the world at the moment and instead of listening to the news all day we have to get out to the polls and make a difference. I created this animation for the Into Action Creative Jam last week which was hosted by a few amazing guests including Shepard Fairey. Now get out and vote!
I’ve been spending a lot of time making new paintings over the past few weeks. Some have been more conceptual while others have been experimentations with various color palettes and styles/processes. This painting below is one of the few that have been more successful. Excited to keep pushing these compositions between other illustration and design projects.
It’s Super Bowl time and you know what that means, I’m not sure what it means - I’ve never played or watched football in my life. Although, the 2020 Super Bowl is particularly special to me. Back in December I was asked to create an illustration for a mural installation at the Casa De Crunch, a Super Bowl activation sponsored by Frito-Lay and the NFL. Together, with the help of my awesome friends, we completed the 30’ long by 9’ high mural in 2 days at Bayfront Park in Miami.

A few logo concepts for one of my favorite O, Miami Poetry Festival events, Poetry in Pajamas. The designs eventually turned into tee shirts, backpacks, and a poster on Lincoln Road in South Beach.
My good friend Brandon, with years of experience in the apparel industry, tasked me with illustrating the woven labels for his new brand. We scoured the web and label blogs for inspiration. Brandon also has a collection of vintage labels that we used for reference. After refining our blue collar mascot for the brand, we sent the illustrations to China to be produced as a woven label. This was my first experience with woven labels and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The level of detail and reproduction quality totally exceeded my expectations. In addition, I just learned the line will soon be available at Bodega Boston and Garbstore London.
